1.Preheat oven to 375℃. Cream thebutter in a bowl until smooth. It’s best if you use a electric hand mixer or stand up mixer

2.Add the brown sugar, white sugar, and eggs to the but ter and beat well. If you have a stand up mixer you can let it mix for a couple of minutes while measuring for the next ingredients.

3. Combine the flour (you can sift if you’re in the mood), baking soda, salt cinnamon, allspice, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, and quick oats. With all of those spices make sure you read the labels and get the correct ones! Add this to the butter mixture if you didn’t just directly put it into it and stir well. Stir in the raisins.

4. Using a greased, lined with parchment, or nonstick baking sheet drop the dough about an inch apart and put in oven for 15 minutes.

5.Once browned on the edges and darker in colour, and fairly firm in the middle, remove from oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for five minutes before transferring to cooling racks to cool fully.

Enjoy! Your taste buds will thank you later.
